This Privacy Policy explains how Jeong Healing Therapy PLLC ("I," "me") collects and uses information through this website, www.jeonghealingtherapy.com. It covers website visitors and people who contact me through the site. If you become a client, your clinical information is protected under my Notice of Privacy Practices and state law. 

Information I collect

• Information you give me. When you book a discovery call or use a contact form, I collect your name, email, phone number, the state you live in, and anything you choose to write in the form.
• Information collected automatically.  This site is hosted by GoDaddy, and Cloudflare helps keep it secure. These services may automatically collect your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and the date and time of your visit, using cookies or similar technology, to operate and protect the site. I do not use Google Analytics or advertising trackers. 

Please don't send detailed health information through website forms or regular email. We can talk about what's bringing you to therapy during your discovery call.

How I use your information

• To respond to your inquiry and schedule your discovery call
• To provide services if you become a client
• To operate, secure, and improve this website
• To meet legal and professional obligations

How I share your information

I do not sell your information, and I do not share it for targeted advertising. I share it only with service providers who help me run my practice and website, such as GoDaddy, Cloudflare, Sessions Health for HIPAA compliant scheduling and billing, and Proton Mail for HIPAA compliant emailing, and only as needed for them to do that work. 

I may also disclose information when required by law, such as in response to a valid court order.

How long I keep it

 If you contact me and don’t become a client, I delete your inquiry information within 12 months, unless I need to keep it longer to meet a legal or professional obligation. If you become a client, your information becomes part of your clinical record and is kept as required by law. 

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information you've submitted through this website by contacting me at contact [at] jeonghealingtherapy.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy law. You can also set your browser to block or delete cookies.

Security

I use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including secure, HIPAA-compliant tools for client communication. No website or internet transmission is completely secure.

Children

This website is not directed to children. Therapy for a minor is arranged by a parent or legal guardian.

Links to other sites

This site may link to other websites, such as my scheduling page. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
